https://g1.globo.com/fantastico/noticia/2020/08/02/exclusivo-detalhes-ineditos-da-investigacao-do-facebook-que-derrubou-perfis-bolsonaristas.ghtml
https://www.linkedin.com/in/luiza-bandeira-ab038297
https://about.fb.com/news/2018/07/removing-bad-actors-on-facebook

2020.05.04 18:04 MrRobert44 [OC] An insight in the world of football kits - 454 teams that play in the most unusual colors

I would like to start with a humble warning, that this will be a longer than "usual" post. Hopefully, it will compensate with the amount of information you might deem as interesting. :)

After finishing my first journey into the world of colors in football, by counting which teams play in red & black color combination, I decided to pursue my next curiosity:
How many football teams in the world play in unusual colors?
By this, I was thinking of teams which have a “main” color that is rarely used (grey, brown, purple, pink, etc.) or use an uncommon color combination.
Because of this coronavirus madness that is going on, I was able to spend more hours for this project than I planned, so in the end I was able to go into almost every single league in the world. I checked teams from over 400 divisions, of different tiers, from all continents. Although it’s not an official list, I tried to include as many clubs as possible on it.
Now, you're probably asking yourself "How do you measure how rare or how common is in football a color / combination of colors?"
An exact answer is impossible to give, so I started the study using my own experience as a football supporter, finally finding an useful purpose for the thousands of hours spent on watching football games. Therefore, I used a subjective point of view and excluded the color combinations that I, personally, considered to be the most common in football teams, namely:

The selection criteria for the teams were as follows:
  1. The team should have their main kit in colors which are different than the ones enumerated above;
  2. The team must have played or been associated with the colors for several seasons;
  3. The team should be currently active (dissolved clubs were not included).

But enough introduction, let’s jump straight into the list of the most uncommon kit colors in the world of football:

2020.04.27 19:24 MGTElite489 Pick Your Poison Press Conference

A familiar teal Ferrari F8 Spider pulls into the parking garage of the Aztec Stadium. The car rests in a parking space, and after being revved one last time, the engine slowly became taken over by silence. The door finally opens, and it presents a pair of Supreme x Nike World Famous Air Force 1s, followed by olive joggers, followed by a grey and black flannel shirt. As the door closes, the camera pans up to the face of Travis Crowley, who's sporting a black baseball flipped backwards, and carrying out his travel bags. Crowley locks the car, and he begins navigating through the bowels of the arena, nodding at various producers as they pass him by. He set his bags down in REVOLT's personal locker room, meeting up with the other guys. He daps up STEEZ, who's sharpening his ox for just the right time. He shakes hands with Ethan Fadley, who has a serious look on his face as he prepares for his main event match with Atlas later in the night. Finally, he rubs the shoulders of Jack Slash, asking him if he's ready to kick Collective's ass one last time, to which he nods, also focused. Suddenly, a producer knocks on the door and says it's time for the Television Championship Press Conference. Travis nods, before taking his title as he leaves to sit in front of dozens of waiting reporters.
Soundtrack: What It Look Like by French Montana
Travis finally arrives in the conference room, scowling as he stares down the many reporters take pictures of him, leaning over the barrier as they chomp at the bit for a closer look. Crowley steps up onto an elevated platform, and below is the gate that holds the reporters back. On the platform is a backdrop covered in sponsorship logos, and in front of it is a long black table, where a moderator is already sitting down. On each side of the moderator is a chair, and Travis sets his title down, before taking a seat. The reporters mutter, looking over at the empty seat, which was supposed to be taken by Travis' opponent, EED. After a few minutes of sitting in silence, Travis scowls at his absence and begins speaking.
TC: Alright fuck this. You assholes going to ask me some questions or what?
The reporters stare up at Travis, not exactly sure what to say. Crowley raises his arms in exasperation, before the moderator stands up next to him and points to the back of the conference room. Crowley looks, and realization hits once he sees the Mexican flag hanging up on the wall.
TC: Oh... right. Um... ¿Me vas a hacer algunas preguntas o no?
The reporters suddenly take notice, and they begin asking questions, rapidly firing each one, everyone looking to get an answer from the King of The Fall himself. Travis smirks and tells everyone to calm down, before pointing at a man in front, sporting a slightly wrinkled dress shirt and suspenders.
Travis then points to a female reporter with long brown hair, wearing a short skirt and a black blazer. She holds up her phone, pressing the record button as she began to speak.
Travis points to another reporter, another woman, only this time she's dressed in a cream pants suit, wearing a pair of prescription glasses, and is frantically scribbling things down on a notepad. She finally gets settled, and stands up so Crowley can hear her.
Travis points to another reporter, who's raising his hand to speak. Once chosen, he checks his phone, and looks up, before looking back at his phone just to be sure. He looks up at Crowley with a bewildered look on his face.
Fabuloso, malditamente fabuloso. A la mierda con todos ustedes.
Travis immediately stands up and kicks over what was supposed to be EED's chair. He kicks over his own chair and takes his title, before raising it up as he flips off all the reporters in attendance, who immediately start taking pictures of the champion as he storms out of the room.

2020.03.24 19:06 Colerix AMLO, Constellation Brands y Mexicali.

2020.03.20 00:01 VirginiaBeckett Debunking some of the lies LLDM tells their members about California's AG Xavier Becerra (También en español)

Traducción al español más abajo.
This post was prompted in response to another one from yesterday that has since been deleted from this subreddit and that concerned the unprecedented hatred of LLDM towards the Attorney General Xavier Becerra; however I figured it was important to discuss the topic further in order to help members of the church to open their eyes and get a glimpse of reality.
· Is Xavier Becerra covering up clergy abuses perpetrated by Catholic priests?
These two websites with an obvious affiliation to LLDM, A Fondo Jalisco and A Fondo Guerrero, claim that an alleged victim of clergy abuse named Manuel Vega accused the AG of letting off the hook eighty priests in order to purportedly defend the Catholic church. This report (January 2019) from Noticias Telemundo however tells a different story: while it is true that over the course of six decades there were abuses perpetrated by more than eighty priests from the San Bernardino Diocese, nobody is pointing the finger at the Attorney General Xavier Becerra as he had been on the job for merely two of those sixty years when the misconducts were ongoing but at the religious authorities that never reported what was happening instead. Even though the victims went on to pursuit a civil lawsuit rather than a criminal prosecution, the AG's office issued subpoenas on April 2019 to audit all California dioceses.
On the same subject, Sara Pozos –an official LLDM spokeswoman –, wrote on June 2019 this column for Milenio Jalisco referencing an opinion piece from September 2018 that appeared on the Los Angeles Times to make it seem that there were still no formal investigations under way concerning clergy abuses in California, with the sole purpose of misleading the public since there was already enough information online to the contrary. If anything, Xavier Becerra has taken a more proactive role than his predecessor Kamala Harris in cooperating with the victims as seen here.
· Is Xavier Becerra an Opus Dei member?
I've seen this claim on both Facebook posts and comment threads on YouTube. Sometimes a supposed article from La Opinión de Houston is brought up, but upon clicking on it, it gives an error 404 message, which makes me presume that either the article never existed in the first place or that it was taken down due to the unsubstantiated and defamatory nature of the accusation; a preview of said article can still be seen in Facebook and the text is identical to that of this blog publication that provides no evidence whatsoever to support the allegation as it becomes apparent that it was written by someone from LLDM out of spite for the arrest of Naasón Joaquín. Other than that, I have not found a single report on the media o any other opinion piece that links the Attorney General to that Catholic organization.
· Did Xavier Becerra travel to the Vatican to worship?
On another iteration of the disinformation war the church has engaged in, A Fondo Guerrero –same as above– published this article and a woman named Carmen Lamas who's also a member from LLDM published this video on YouTube to suggest that there are strong ties between the Attorney General and the Vatican based on this report. However, another report from around the same time on Univisión reveals the true purpose of his trip: to ask Pope Francis to intercede in order to stop the mass deportations of the Obama era as an immigration activist. In the aforementioned video, at timestamp 6:20, it reads: "California's AG calls himself a Catholic." conveniently leaving out the portion of text that comes right after that: "He's also persecuting the unborn" as it was an article from a pro-life website that criticizes Xavier Becerra for his pro-choice stance despite his faith; this should come as no surprise to anyone as he is a renowned Democrat and here you can see his congressional voting records on the subject of abortion. I don't know about you, but he doesn't exactly strike me as a rabid Catholic with a hidden agenda at all.
· Did Xavier Becerra violate Naasón Joaquín's presumption of innocence?
This is a very funny one indeed and it gets brought up very often specially by Silem García. The presumption of innocence is a legal principle that one is considered innocent until proven guilty and that places the burden of proof on the prosecution which must then present compelling evidence to either a judge or a jury to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused is responsible of wrongdoing. The office of the Attorney General represents the people of the State of California rather than take on the defense of any individual in particular and I don't know how else would they carry on their duty prosecuting criminal offenders if they were expected to presume everyone is innocent no matter what at all circumstances and not do anything about it. It's just absurd. That of course doesn't mean Naasón Joaquín doesn't have the right to a fair trial or to the best defense his church can afford, but it's already been sufficiently established that the AG has probable cause to go after him.
Conclusion:
If you're still an active member of LLDM, please ask yourself why does your church need to make things up and to lie shamelessly to you in order to defend their apostle? Why do they keep feeding this persecution narrative that exists only in their heads that the Catholics are up to get them? If they had the truth on their side, none of this would ever be necessary.
[Edited to correctly identify Sara Pozos as an official spokeswoman for LLDM.]

http://uns.edu.anoticias/2020/5335#suspensi%C3%B3n-hasta-el-6-de-abril-del-inicio-de-clases-en-los-niveles-universitario,-terciario-y-secundario

2019.10.09 04:00 ZeroLolisPlan The 20/11 Rule How Teams Are Doing: Week 13

Over the past few editions of this post, we’ve dedicated this space to a variety of fluff, from deafening cries of help, copypasta, bibble babble, to suicide notes. Well that ends here. Today we’ll use this space for something more insightful. Today, news articles. Today, misinformation.
Act 1: Ground Zero
Scene: October 3th, 12:00 PM CST Record published an article by David Medrano. Otro mexicano está en la mira del Betis, was a follow-up piece to his Tuesday opinion article on Real Betis scouting JJ Macias at the Friday game vs. Puebla. The new article picked up on a scoop; Macias wasn’t the only player scouted that day. There was another. Santiago Roman, the October 7th article tells us, was also observed by Real Betis in the earlier Puebla vs. Leon U-20 match. Roman is the captain of Puebla’s U-20 team, Copa MX debutant, and consistent call up to the youth national team. He’s another prospect of the Puebla cantera that looks to break out, and some seem to be watching on him already. That was what David Medrano said in an opinion piece, it isn’t really an article, all we have is his word. Stick with me, things are going to get messy.
Act 2: Passing the Baton
Scene: October 3th, 6:36 PM CST Los Pleyers published Visores del Betis vinieron a México por jugador del Puebla, an article on Santiago Roman, based on the piece by David Medrano. They never acknowledge that, their article is based on various sources, but if do a Google search, there was one at the time of Los Pleyers publication: Medrano’s. First paragraph is important to us, “This Wednesday night the Mexican National Team faced off Trinidad & Tobago in a friendly, surprisingly in the stands were scouts of various clubs from Europe. They were all watching the prospects of Mexican football, except Real Betis wasn’t watching anyone famous, but a young defender whom plays for Puebla.” (Note: All excerpts are going to be translated to English, why? Because I said so, I’ll give the links so that you can look at the originals ok? Stop giving me that look.)
Two sentences.
One paragraph.
The rest of the article goes on about JJ Macias before coming back around to Roman and his history. Nothing interesting here. However, let’s go back to the beginning paragraph, notice anything weird? They are a bit wonky because they can imply Santiago Roman was playing with Mexico that night. Strange, but the inference can be made, whatever, nothing can come from this right?
Act 3: I Heard It Down the Hall
Scene: October 4th, 6:31 PM CST SoyFutbol published Club Puebla: Real Betis tendría en la mira 'Perla' de La Franja, an article on Santiago Roman, based on the piece by Los Pleyers. SoyFutbol acknowledges that their information comes from Los Pleyers, now, let’s read the first paragraph. “According to a publication by Los Pleyers, the young centerback from Puebla Santiago Roman, whom had participation in the friendly with Mexico vs. Trinidad & Tobago, sparked a lot interest in Europe, especially in Spain with a team who already has a pair of Mexicans in their squad.” Pause. First off, that paragraph is only one sentence, the entire article is four sentences, a paragraph! A small digression, but still unbelievable. Back to the core of the problem... did you catch it? Yes? Yes, you did over there on the iPhone. Well of course you all did, it’s obvious that Roman WASN’T AT THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT GAME WITH MEXICO. So why the hell did they write that. Because ladies and gentlemen, SoyFutbol was copying from Los Pleyers.
The reporter didn’t understand what the first paragraph was saying, so this he wrote what he inferred; Roman played against Trinidad & Tobago. He doesn’t even catch it, two sentences in, he states: “...Betis’ scouts were present in the installations of Puebla to observe players and they saw the U-20 match between Puebla and Leon, and after viewing the game, they took notice of the young 18-year old defender and that he is a starter for the U-20 Mexican national team.” Here, he makes it seem that Real Betis noticed Roman at the U-20 game and that’s why they observed him with Mexico.
What a load of bull!
One last thing on this SoyFutbol article, it is a condensed version of the Los Pleyers article, should I say, plagiarized version. The SoyFutbol article is section-by-section the same content as the Los Pleyers; First the Mexico game and tying it to Roman; Second Betis is after Roman; Third Betis was present at the U-20 game Roman played; Fourth Betis took the moment in Mexico to watch the friendly against Trinidad & Tobago and observe Macias as well (With similar language, I suggest you read that by yourselves.); Fifth, SoyFutbol gives some stats about Roman, which Los Pleyers does in two sections. At least it’s over, right?
Act 4: Doomsday
Scene: October 5th 11:46 AM CST Fichajes.net published El Betis sigue rastreando el mercado mexicano, an article on Santiago Roman based on the piece from Record; Medrano’s article. Fichajes.net acknowledges that Record is the source, but there is something strange in the article. Last sentence; second paragraph, “He also debuted with the mayor [Mexican National Team] against Trinidad & Tobago, a game that the secretary manager (I assume they are referring to the director.) of Real Betis didn’t miss.”
A moment.
Need I say it?
Here we are, two days after the Big Bang, after Ground Zero, the echoes have reached a small website from Spain. Distorted, but the sound waves reached as far as the motherland. This is what happens when reporters knowingly, or unknowingly spread misinformation. Need I say more?
Abbreviated Rule:
The 20/11 Rule 2.0 states that every team must field Formed in Mexico U-21 players (Born in 1997 or later) for at least 1,000 minutes. Players born in 1997 can provide the fifty percent of minutes from each match, while players born in 1998 or later can make the 1,000 minutes, or one hundred percent. If a team fails to meet this requirement by the end of the season they will face a 3 point penalty at the end of the season. A team cannot exceed 270 minutes per game, regardless of how many players are on the field.
National Team Rule/Loophole:
The exception to this rule is the National Team, any player that participated with any National Team during the season, excluding FIFA international breaks, can apply those minutes to this requirement, regardless of whether they played or not. However, the team must field this player for at least 50 minutes in order to keep those National Team minutes at the end of the season. Failing to do so would result in a loss of said minutes.

2019.07.21 20:50 Dhakwanes The Little Known Link Between the Bar Bar , Club America and the "models"

On January the 25 , 2010 at 5:00 am America’s forward Salvador Cabañas was shot in the head in the Bar Bar, many people asked what was Salvador Cabañas doing there but the Club America and the Bar Bar have had a long story of party, models, players and everything in between, I will give you a little background, In this video Zague explains how “they were the pioneers of the Bar Bar” and he mentions very lightly the name Ruben Abarca a guy who used to “bring the girls into the Bar”, and they let see that they did a little bit more than modeling Ruben Abarca played for America in the 80’s when Jose Antonio Roca brought him from the fuerzas basicas but he was relegated by “Maestro Reynoso” because he did not represent the America values, here is where his story gets interesting, once he was kicked out from America he starts “representing models” it was very open that some of the girls besides being models were prostitutes, (see who is with him in this picture, clue the father of Giovani Dos Santos, remember that :”hijo de tigre pintito”) some of the “models” he represented were:
  1. Liliana Lago (Nacha Plus that has a daughter with Cuauhtemoc Blanco)
  2. Sabina Sabrok (La tetanic and all the models from La hora pico)
  3. Lis Vega.
  4. Adriana Fonseca.
He never hid his models were prostitutes, he even accepted that he explained that to them telling them that in each event they will earn more if they went with somebody and explains how much he was getting from them.
His webpage is not online anymore but you can see how the rumours that he was a pimp were so big that he has a message explaining that he was not into human trafficking, you can see his models in newspapaers, magazines (see that girl that it is called “Cassandra” how she is really similar to Dulce Maria who was Memo Ochoa’s girilfriend), you can see the tv shows that used his “models” and a sketch in one of Televisas shows.
There is a lot more ground to cover in this story but I just wanted to give you a little sneak peak, cheers.
The 3 biggest American fan.
